Essential Oil Candle Care: get more use from your candle

Create your candle a memory burn: make sure you burn your candle wax all the way to the edge of the glass jar on its first burn. This is very important as it will prevent channelling.

Make sure you trim your candles wick to 1/4 inch before each burn as this will prevent smoking and soot build up. The best way to do this is to purchase one of our Candle Care Kits!

Always burn your candle in a safe area and do not leave it unattended.

How to refill your candle

At Iris & Aura we stand behind the principles of reuse, reduce and recycle. That's why we sell candle refills for your favourite candle variations, so that you can reuse your candle container. 

To refill your candle, all you need to do is remove any residual wax from your container, and then drop in your new refill. Your candle is ready to go.
